King Praises Terrorist Then Deletes Tweet

The most forgotten story in the last week was the terrorist attack on the ICE facility in Tacoma, Washington.  The domestic terrorist, who claimed to be Antifa and whose manifesto included the term “concentration camps”, echoing the language that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez popularized, was killed at the scene.  He was armed with a rifle, tossing incendiary devices, which lit one car on fire, and was attempting to blow up a propane tank which would have killed untold number of ICE agents and detainees.

This should have been the biggest story in the nation until the media pounced on President Trump’s tweets about “The Squad”.  So now the story is centered around the reaction from the left-wing extremists who view the terrorist as a martyr.
At the top of the leaderboard is Shaun King, professional activist and race-baiter.  King tweeted support of the terrorist, then deleted those tweets later.  King referred to the terrorist as a “martyr”, and compared him to John Brown, the abolitionist who led a raid in 1859 with the intention of starting a slave revolution.

King wasn’t the only one who referred to the terrorist as a martyr.  Seattle Antifa praised the terrorist on facebook.  “When our good friend and comrade Willem Van Spronsen took a stand against the fascist detention center in Tacoma, he became a martyr who gave his life to the struggle against fascism. He was kind and deeply loved by many communities; we cannot let his death go unanswered. Throughout history we idolize figures like John Brown for their courage to take the ultimate stand against oppression, and today we stand strong in our support for yet another martyr in the struggle against fascism. May his death serve as a call to protest and direct action.”

When pressed on this by the Daily Caller, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez refused to condemn the attack.  No other media outlets have asked her about her choice of words being used as motivation for terrorist action.
While the left accuses President Trump and any Republican of having “blood on their hands” anytime something terrible happens, they will happily ignore when there are direct connections between terrorist action and leftist rhetoric.   This is not to say that Ocasio-Cortez is responsible for the terrorist attack.  This is to point out yet another double-standard that the media takes with these incidents.
When Gabriel Giffords was shot, the media, for years, directly blamed Sarah Palin for having a picture on a website, even though the shooter was not a Palin fan.  However, when a Bernie Sanders supporter shoots up a congressional baseball field shouting “This is for healthcare”, that is conveniently ignored.
This is endemic of a long pattern in the media to cover up left-wing terrorism, leading Americans to believe that only right-wingers are capable to terrorist actions.  This is a lie told to a naive audience.  This story will be swept under the rug, but Republicans and moderates must remember that the left and the media will cover for a domestic terrorist organization time and time again.
