More Questions Than Answers In Joe Biden’s Cancer Diagnosis

BY MOSHE HILL  OPINION COLUMNS  MAY 21 2025

This week, former President Joe Biden’s office announced a devastating diagnosis: an aggressive form of prostate cancer, graded a Gleason score of 9, with metastases to his bones. The news, first reported after a “small nodule” was found during a medical exam earlier this month, has sent shockwaves through the nation. Regardless of one’s political stance, this is tragic news, and no one should celebrate or take pleasure in Biden’s suffering. However, the timing and circumstances of this revelation raise profound questions about transparency, trust, and the integrity of those who led the country during Biden’s presidency (as it was clearly not Joe Biden).

The diagnosis itself is alarming, not only for its severity but also for the questions it raises about how long Biden has had cancer. According to medical professionals, prostate cancer is often detected early through routine Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) blood tests, recommended for men over 50. When caught in Stages I, II, or III, the five-year survival rate is near 100%. However, Biden’s cancer, now Stage IV, carries a grim 28% five-year survival rate, as noted by Dr. Chris George, medical director of Northwestern Health Network’s cancer program, in a Reuters interview. The fact that it has spread to his bones suggests a late-stage diagnosis, which means that he’d had this cancer for years—possibly dating back to when he was Vice President—and the public was not told.

Dr. Howard Forman, a Yale University professor, called it “inconceivable” that Biden’s condition wasn’t monitored earlier, noting that a Gleason 9 cancer would have shown elevated PSA levels for some time. Dr. Steven Quay, a former Stanford faculty member, echoed this, stating that prostate cancer, even in its most aggressive forms, typically takes 5–7 years to progress to bone metastases without treatment. “It would be malpractice for this patient to show up and be first diagnosed with metastatic disease in May 2025,” Quay wrote on X, suggesting Biden likely carried a prostate cancer diagnosis during his White House tenure at the very least. Urologist Dr. David Shusterman told NewsNation that such a late-stage diagnosis is more typical of patients who haven’t seen a doctor in a decade—not a former president under constant medical supervision.

These expert opinions fuel a troubling suspicion: Biden’s team may have known about his condition for years and concealed it from the public. Who knew about this diagnosis, and for how long? Did it influence critical moments, such as the unprecedentedly early timing of the 2024 presidential debate, which raised eyebrows at the time? Could the announcement’s timing be linked to external pressures, such as the release of Jake Tapper’s new book or Robert Hur’s audio, both surfacing this week? Was he being treated for this cancer in 2021, when decisions were made regarding the Afghanistan withdrawal? In 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine? In 2023, when Hamas invaded Israel? Or at any of the thousand crucial points in any presidential term? That’s assuming he was treated—and he wasn’t deliberately left untreated so the public wouldn’t find out.

It’s not as if Joe Biden is the most trustworthy public figure to begin with. Throughout his career, he has faced accusations of fabricating or exaggerating details about his personal and professional life, from claiming to have been a truck driver to saying that his son died in Iraq. He clearly covered up his mental issues, which eventually led to him dropping out of the presidential race after a disastrous debate performance. This possibility raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of executive orders, pardons, and judicial nominations made during his tenure. Were these actions executed with full competence, or were they influenced by a leader grappling with a debilitating illness? The public deserves clarity on whether legal ramifications could arise from decisions made under such circumstances.

The revelation also casts a harsh light on the media’s credibility. For years, outlets labeled former President Donald Trump a liar, yet Biden’s falsehoods—potentially including a hidden cancer diagnosis—appear far more consequential. The media’s failure to scrutinize Biden’s health, coupled with their dismissal of public concerns about his mental and physical capacity, has eroded their authority. Congressman Ronny Jackson, a former White House physician, went further, suggesting Biden’s physician prioritized “political cover-up” over world-class medical care.

The implications of this diagnosis extend beyond Biden’s personal health. It challenges the American people’s ability to trust anyone associated with his administration. If Biden’s team withheld such critical information, what else might they have concealed? With the release of the Robert Hur audio tape, it’s obvious they were covering up Biden’s dementia. Remember, the media not only dismissed Hur’s findings—that Biden should not be prosecuted because a jury would simply view him as a forgetful old man—they actually attacked Hur as a Republican operative. There’s also a new book being released by Jake Tapper with stories showing Biden’s continued mental decline. This is someone whom the Democrats and media were trying to get elected until January 2029.

What legal actions are necessary following this news? In the waning days of his presidency, Joe Biden issued dozens of high-profile pardons, appointed federal judges, and issued executive orders. Who was actually in charge of those decisions? If they were signed by autopen, like the pardons of his family, are they valid? What is the process or procedure to determine that? These are all up in the air now.

What is certain is that all the media’s and Democrats’ claims about Trump are mere projections. They claimed for years that Trump was a liar, was unhealthy, was unfit, and was a traitorous national security risk. They still go on the Sunday shows every week or tell every camera they can find these things. With each passing revelation, however, it is more obvious that they are the liars, the unfit, and the traitorous national security risks. That’s what you would call someone who willingly operates a puppet presidency for years—to the detrimental results and global crises that it has led to.
