Trump Wins Resounding Victory, Will Be 47th President

BY MOSHE HILL  POLITICS  NOVEMBER 06 2024

At 2:30 in the morning on Wednesday, an election that was projected to take weeks wrapped up, and Donald John Trump was projected to win the necessary Electoral College votes to become the 47th President of the United States of America.  Not only that, but Republicans flipped the Senate, earning at least 52 seats (with a possibility of getting 55), and Trump won the national popular vote – something a Republican has not done since 2004 and only the second time since 1988.

This was a victory that is sure to make shockwaves around the world.  Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, and others who have been taking advantage of the foreign policy weakness of the Joe Biden administration have been told by the American people to check themselves. Would-be illegal migrants who used the southern border as a welcome mat will turn around.  Hamas-supporting, Palestinian-flag waving fools will no longer have an ear in the highest office in the land.  This is a great day for common sense, security, and American greatness.

Here’s what will happen now that Trump is the President-elect.  In his first month of the presidency, he will put back in place all the executive orders that Joe Biden undid. Unfortunately, that’s how American government works now.  So many powers have been delegated from the Legislature to the Executive that rules and regulations can flip every four years.  The border will be closed.  The oil will be drilled.  Gas prices will drop because the gas companies will feel more secure in their futures.  This will have a butterfly effect in the economy, causing the cost of goods to drop.  Regulations will be revoked, opening up American private industry, which saw job losses in October.

There are three months before that happens though, and do not expect the Democrats to go quietly into that good night.  Hunter Biden will likely be pardoned, the regulatory state will be expanded, and there will be a panicked rush to get as many judicial appointments in as possible.

This is also the last chance for some countries to get away with actions under Biden’s watch.  China may blockade Taiwan.  Russia may push deeper into Ukraine.  Iran may shoot more missiles at Israel.

The media has already begun mourning.  The New York Times said that Trump “storms back” after a “dark and defiant campaign” and that he’s “Ushering in a New Era of Uncertainty.”  MSNBC spent the night blaming white men, white women, black men, Hispanic men, and everyone but themselves.

This was a media defeat.  Kamala Harris was a pure media creation.  She ran for president and failed so miserably she didn’t even make it to 2020; she dropped out in 2019.  She was placed in the Vice Presidency because of her race and sex and became the least popular vice president in history.  She was placed on the ticket by pushing Joe Biden off the proverbial cliff, spent the first 50 days of her campaign avoiding any media at all, had no policies, no substance, and no vision for the country (except abortion).  She was so unpopular that she did not do better than Joe Biden did in 2020 in any county in the nation.  She underperformed by every metric. Now she has the singular responsibility for certifying the victory for Trump on January 6, 2025.  The poetic justice is too beautiful to behold.

The results of this election will take weeks to digest.  The House of Representatives is still up in the air, but there is a strong possibility that the Republican majority in the Senate will be bigger than it is in the House.  The Jewish community turned out in big numbers for Republicans, yet Representative Anthony D’Esposito is projected to lose his seat.  Two years ago, the House Majority ran through New York, with Republicans earning 11 seats.  That has dwindled down to 7.  This is despite Nassau County turning from a Biden +10 county into a Trump +4 county, a 14-point swing which is reflected statewide.  The postmortem for New York Republicans will be coming, but the signs are hopeful.

That being said, this is a great day for the Jewish community, who feel safer and more secure with the most pro-Jewish and pro-Israel President back in the White House.  This is a great day for American prosperity and security.  This is simply a great day, and the American people can now see what will be, unburdened by what has been.  We can move forward.  We can turn the page.  We can see the second term of Donald John Trump.
