Joe Biden is old. That wouldn’t be a problem – except he’s the President of the United States and clearly not fully functional. Anyone who has eyes can see as clear as day that Biden’s mental capacity has diminished to the point where continuing to have the power of the presidency is a legitimate danger to the country and the world. Yet there are Democrat Party loyalists who want to tell you that your eyes are not to be trusted; believe what they say instead.
At the G7 summit in Savelletri, Italy, President Biden drew international mockery after he wandered away from a group photo session with other world leaders. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni intervened, gently redirecting the 81-year-old President back to the group. This embarrassing moment furthers the fear amongst Americans that our President is a laughingstock. The same media that claimed that President Trump was a laughingstock amongst world leaders when he was president seem to have no problem with Biden’s pathetic meandering.
Later, Biden caused a stir when he awkwardly leaned in and rested his forehead against Pope Francis during a meeting. This unusual gesture elicited surprise from the Pope and a visibly startled reaction from Argentinian President Javier Milei, who backed away upon witnessing the scene. The moment quickly went viral, with social media reactions highlighting the awkwardness. Satirical news site The Babylon Bee quipped about Biden mistaking the Pope for a scoop of ice cream, while the New York Post and others commented on the Pope’s apparent discomfort.
Both of these issues highlight something important about the Biden presidency: He is not taken seriously in any way. There are several things a President can do regarding how foreign leaders view him. The Reagan approach was “peace through strength.” Have so much raw power behind you that it doesn’t matter if you serve jelly beans during a state dinner; the world will become a safer place. The Clinton/Obama approach was “lead from behind.” Stand back and build a coalition of nations, because we all have the same interests (this was incredibly ineffective and dangerous for the world, as was seen on 9/11 and the rise of ISIS.) Biden is copying the Clinton/Obama approach, which is why there are two major wars happening in the world, and the world leaders he’s supposedly building a coalition with are wondering if they can count on him when the time comes.
That’s not all. At a star-studded campaign fundraiser in Los Angeles, Biden appeared to freeze on stage, necessitating assistance from former President Barack Obama to guide him off. The incident occurred after a 45-minute interview with Jimmy Kimmel, with Biden’s gaze fixed on the crowd until Obama intervened. Obama knows that his former VP is gone, and he, like First Lady Jill Biden, are more than happy to allow their puppet to stay in front while they pull the strings from the back.
Left-wing influencers are strongly refuting claims that a video shows President Biden freezing on stage and being led off by former President Obama. David Hogg asserts, “For the record, this did not happen and is a total lie.” Harry Sisson labels the claims as another falsehood from Trump supporters, stating, “MAGA IS LYING AGAIN. The new lie is that Biden had to be ‘led off stage’ by Obama and that he ‘froze’ but that is COMPLETELY FALSE!” Brian Tyler Cohen criticizes right-wing media, accusing them of fabricating stories out of desperation. Alex Vindman dismisses the claims as “Rag. Propaganda. Garbage,” confident that New York City will still vote overwhelmingly for Biden. Rufus Gifford insists, “Nothing remotely close to this actually happened.” Andrew Bates condemns the New York Post, accusing it of lying about the President with “cheap fakes” and disrespecting its readers.
The public is not buying the propaganda by Leftists, because they can see what is happening with their own eyes. A new poll by J.L. Partners reveals that 49% of likely voters expect President Joe Biden to forget where he is during his upcoming debate with Donald Trump on June 27. The poll, conducted on June 10-11 among 500 likely general election voters, shows 70% anticipate Biden will mess up his words, 41% think he will walk off the wrong side of the stage, and 40% foresee issues with him standing up. This is a man who is running for the President of the United States, not the local Rotary club. Half of people think that Biden won’t remember where he is during a debate, but he’s expected to negotiate with Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping?
The Biden team is trying to turn this around on Trump, because Trump is only a few years younger than Biden. Trump’s age, however, isn’t a factor, because he’s clearly still a functional human being. At a campaign rally last week, Trump’s teleprompter malfunctioned, and he went on an impromptu riff for 15 minutes. Biden, in contrast, reads stage directors from the teleprompter like “Pause.”
When the Left is trying to cover for Biden, know that it’s because they are fully aware that Biden is losing his mind – whatever he had remaining – but they cannot replace him because they know they are going to lose. That’s what this is all about. Not national security, not protecting democracy. Just winning so they can remain in power.
